Rubina Dilaik’s daring helicopter stunt ends with a medical emergency on COLORS’ ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’

The countdown to COLORS’ ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’ has begun, and this season is all set to capture television’s biggest adrenaline spectacle – Darr Ka Naya Daur. Hosted by blockbuster filmmaker and action maestro Rohit Shetty, the ultimate test of courage returns from the breathtaking landscapes of Cape Town, South Africa, where bigger fears, bolder challenges and heart-stopping action await. With every challenge designed to push contestants beyond their breaking point, the upcoming season promises a relentless battle against fear. But among the most jaw-dropping moments of the premiere weekend is one involving Rubina Dilaik, whose fearless spirit is put to the ultimate test in a high-risk aerial stunt that takes an alarming and unexpected turn.

What begins as an audacious leap from a rope ladder suspended beneath a hovering helicopter over a vast water body quickly spirals into one of the most intense moments ever witnessed on the show. Determined to conquer the challenge, Rubina goes full throttle into the stunt, diving into the water body. But within moments, the challenge unfolds in a way nobody expects, forcing the crew to rush her from the stunt site in an ambulance, leaving fellow contestants stunned.

Speaking about the life-altering experience, Rubina Dilaik said, “I wanted to begin with a bang – that was always my plan. But it didn’t go exactly the way I had imagined. A huge reason I said yes to Khatron Ke Khiladi was because I wanted my twin daughters to grow up knowing that their mother never backed down from a challenge. When the stunt unfolded the way it did, my first thought was about them and what they would go through. All I can say is that I gave it everything I had. I’m incredibly grateful to the entire team for reacting so quickly, rushing me into an ambulance and taking such wonderful care of me. What exactly happened, and how it all unfolded, is something you’ll have to watch in the premiere weekend. Honestly, I’ll be watching it too, because everything I know after I passed out is from what people have told me. Without a doubt, this has been the most intense moment of my life.”

Watch ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, premiering from 1st August and thereafter airing every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 PM only on COLORS andJioHotstar.
